Great family-run hotel close to Cologne. I had a great time at a hotel in Frechen close to Cologne. The hotel has recently been refurbished, so everything was clean and modern. The breakfast was fantastic with fresh German bread and a good variety of food. The internet was fast and free, and the location was ideal. It was just a few minutes from the train station, with trains running every 10 minutes to Cologne city center. The owners were really friendly and took care of any requests I had. I'll definitely come back.
That was a downside. However, the location was perfect, within walking distance of everything in Frechen and easy access to the tramway to Cologne.

During our stay, we were pleased with the convenient location of the hotel. It was situated close to a bustling city, making it easy to explore the area. The room we stayed in was well-appointed and the bathroom was clean and modern. The hotel also provided excellent service, with friendly staff who were attentive to our needs. the breakfast offered a variety of delicious options, such as fresh German bread, cheese, and fruits. The hotel also had free and fast internet, which was a bonus.
One drawback was the high price of the room due to a large fair happening nearby.
